Quilting Publications

There are a number of great quilting publications out there, and here is where our readers share some of their secrets with you.

I really enjoy watching the 24hr/7days/week programming on QNN.com!  The programs vary all day long.  If you happen to miss a program, you are bound to be able to catch it at a later time in the day.  I have my computer on this channel all day long and as I'm passing by I can stop and check in on the program airing at the time!  There are free patterns available and the tips that can be learned are wonderful!  Eleanor Burns, Kaye Wood, Ami Simms, and Fons and Porter are just a few of the regulars in the program schedule!  Tune in and learn something new! 

Planet Patchwork offers a free online publication to all registered users. Registration with Planet Patchwork is also free. Located at www.planetpatchwork.com, "The Virtual Quilt" Newsletter is delivered directly to your e-mail inbox. "The Virtual Quilt" Newsletter is published six times a year and features articles dealing with topics of interest to all quilters. Registered users also get access to past issues of "The Virtual Quilt" Newsletter, allowing you to read all issues dealing with all the subjects. 

I wish I had taken pictures of each quilt I have given out over the years. By this time I would have quite a portfolio. With digital cameras and camera phones, this has become a lot easier. Keep the record for family and historical purposes.
