A good way to keep your stencil chalk marks from coming off before you are ready to stitch them is after you have chalked the stencil lightly spray with a fine mist of water.  Let dry and the chalk mark stays until you are ready to remove it. I rub a scrap of batting over the marks to remove them.

Simply sign up for Quilt Chat, receive your user name and password and start chatting. The community is friendly and open for discussion on a multitude of quilting topics. Each discussion is given a different topic so you can directly head towards the forum with topics you're interested in discussing. View pictures sent by other quilt chatters of their lovely works.

Quiltopia (www.tvq.com/quiltop.htm) is an excellent resource for any quilter. This general mailing list sends quilting-related topics directly to your inbox. These mailings can either be sent like regular e-mail with each topic sent immediately or collected and sent out at the end of the day in a digest format. Either way, the quilting subjects discussed will be fun and informative. Quiltopia is an excellent source if you have any specific questions on quilting or an aspect of quilting.
