Block of the Month

When going to classes for the Block of the Month I take the cardboard tube out of a paper towel roll.  As each block is completed and pressed I wrap the block around the tube to keep wrinkle free.  Each block is added on top as completed.  The blocks are together and crease free when I am ready to assemble the quilt top.

Cottonwood Quilts offers a "Block of the Month" for beginners. For .00 (Canadian), buyers will receive the materials (pattern and fabric) to make a block each month for twelve months. Each block features a new pattern geared towards a beginner and comes with full instructions. Included in each month's block are all necessary fabrics and embroidery designs for the quilt. These designs are specific to whatever embroidery-capable sewing machine you may own.
