Perhaps the most accomplished quilt designer is Judy Martin. Ms. Martin has been busy quilting since year 1969 and has the distinct honor of designing and creating the most quilt patterns than anyone else in the world. Ms. Martin has written a multitude of books documenting her beautiful patterns and expert quilting techniques. On her website, www.judymartin.com, Ms. Martin has links to a great deal of her projects, patterns, and the many excellent teaching material.

Elly Sienkiewicz is regarded as the leading expert on applique. This title is well based, since Ms. Sienkiewicz has been quilting for many years and has authored 17 books on the topics of quilting and appliqué. Ms. Sienkiewicz is currently working on two new publications to be finished by 2005 and 2006, both on the topic of applique. In additional to being an author, Ms. Sienkiewicz is owner and teacher of the Elly Sienkiewicz Applique Academy.

Eileen Sullivan has over the past 20 years of quilting experience under her belt and regularly instructs others interested quilters in the topic of the fine art of this wonderful craft. In addition to teaching, Ms. Sullivan has created many different quilt patterns and has developed an exclusive technique for quilting. This revolutionary technique does not utilize templates Instead, the exclusive "sew and flip" method uses freezer paper as a foundation and the pattern into sections.
